Quizzes and Exams Schedules
Make-up Policy:
There will be no make-up quizzes and exams. If you miss any of them, you will get zero scores.
Two exams:
1. Midterm exam: Feb 8, Monday, in class: closed book, closed note. No cheat sheet is allowed.
- Study Chapters 1.1 ~ 3.4.
- Best strategy is to work on homework problems and quizzes. Make sure you practice them more than once.
- AMS 20A students do not come to the midterm exam.

2. Final exam: Mar 16, Wednesday, 12 pm -- 3 pm (the exam time is CONFIRMED)
- DRC exam: BE 330, Mar 16, Wednesday, 12 pm -- 6 pm
- In class exam, closed book, closed note.
- No cheat sheet is allowed, no cheating is allowed -- you can only use your body and soul, but not the others including your friends, any electronic devices, books, notes, etc.
- The exam is cumulative.
- Chapters to study:
- AMS 20: all we cover up to week 10.
- AMS 20A: up to 4.2 (up to week 6).
- For the final exam, you won't need any calculator. But if you wish to bring one, only a scientific calculator is allowed, but not a graphical calculator.
- One tip: in the exam please leave fractions as they are (you can simplify them) and please DO NOT convert them to decimals. Decimal expressions make grading your exams extremely hard. So, no calculator is better.

- Quiz 1 (The week of Jan 11, 2nd week) -- completed.
- Quiz 2 (The week of Jan 25, 4th week) -- completed.
- Quiz 3 (The week of Feb 1, 5th week) -- This is the last quiz for AMS 20A students, completed.
- Quiz 4 (The week of Feb 22, 8th week) -- completed.
- Quiz 5 (The week of Feb 29, 9th week) -- completed.
- Quiz 6 (The week of Mar 7, 10th week) -- Current week.
